The Human Resources Generalist has the responsibility of applying HR expertise to help assist in providing a wide range of department support. They play a key role in the success of the organization by facilitating a positive relationship between management and personal.

The HR Generalist performs routine task required to administer and execute human resource programs including but not limited to leave; disciplinary matters; disputes and investigations; training: recognition, and morale; and occupational health and safety.



Core responsibilities (as with all HR Generalist roles - this is not inclusive of all duties)


  • Manages the onboarding process for exempt and non-exempt employees.  
  • Collaborates with department managers in determining training needs. 
  • Selects training providers and maintains training records. 
  • Manages training grants applications and reporting. 
  • Conducts investigations when employee complaints or concerns are brought forth. 
  • Monitors unemployment claims and inquiries. Monitors workers’ compensation claims and inquiries. 
  • Maintains and updates employee handbook, job descriptions and training checklist as needed. 
  • Manages the maintenance and communication of the benefits program, open enrollment meeting and activities. Acts as the point of contact for  benefits vendors and broker.  Facilitates benefit enrollment meetings and reconciles the invoices monthly, 
  • Produces monthly departmental
  • Facilitates exit interviews and manifests a positive exit process and experience. Accurate including the exiting process, terminations in the the benefits portal, COBRA notifications compiling  last paycheck information.
  • Facilitates enrollment meetings to explain benefits to employees during on boarding and annual enrollment. 
  • Maintains all personnel records (compliance, employee status, etc. 
  • Assures Compliance with all existing governmental and labor legal and government reporting requirements. 
  • Maintains Human Resources Department compliance with Company Standards AS9100 and all HR standards within the Global Parent Organization.


Your Experience and Attributes:

  • Experience or Education in Human Resources as a coordinator or assistant  1-4 Years of HR experience (manufacturing a plus) 
  • TImely and prompt person to demonstrate expectations to the community of employees that will look to you as an example.  
  • Be a glass 1/2 full and positive individual - You set the tone for the company culture and engagement. 
  • Ability to honor confidentiality of information 
  • Manufacturing HR experience a plus
  • Able to complete daily agenda independently but engages support and collaboration when appropriate.  
  • Effectively multi-task with changing priorities, activites, and functions - Can you pivot? 
  • Strong communication skills with all levels of the organization.  Maintain information in a strict confidential manner.  
  • Lead with your problem solving skills bring these into conflict resolutions and negotiations. Leveraging impactful analytical skills
  • Be a SME on HR laws, regulations and guidelines by staying current.
