Responsibilities:

 

• Ensure a safe and secure work environment

• Maintain warehouse procedures and safety standards

• Maintain a clean and professional facility according to daily sanitation schedule

• Ensure daily attendance is recorded and addressed as needed according to the attendance policy

• Ensure all call outs from respective agencies are covered and communicated

• Partner with other agencies on sites and conduct weekly engagement meetings

• Ensure adherence to OSHA standards such as forklift training and facility standards

• Partner with warehouse manager weekly to review staffing needs and brainstorm current and/or upcoming strategies

Labor/Development Management:

 

• Ensure facility is staffed to meet demand

• Lead contract team in warehouse excellence

• Ensure coverage of operations with staff who have the appropriate certifications

• On board newly hired staff, responsible for ensuring training records and maintained

• Direct employee versatility (cross training) to allow growth and operational coverage

• Participate in daily huddle meetings with staff; clearly communicate expectations for the day to all supervisors/leads

• Deliver one / One meetings and SOP visual training

*The ideal candidate for this role would need to be able to assist the client facility in the pursuit of Warehouse Excellence by promoting a culture of safety and security in a facility that is modern, efficient and meets high quality standards through continuous improvement*

Hours:

• 8am to 5pm / MUST be flexible to come in earlier as needed and stay after hours until department work is completed

 

Salary:

• $80 - $90K depending on experience
