Partners Personnel seeks an Production Coordinator for a direct hire position. Our client is a building materials manufacturer for both the commercial and high-end residential markets. They are highly customer focused with providing excellence in products that are durable, beautiful, and environmentally conscious. You see their products every day on the outside of businesses you patronize.


Working alongside the Production manager.  The Production Coordinator will have great project management skills.  They will understand the critical nature of time management with a manufacturing facility.  They will be results driven, analytical, and love data and data reporting.  


RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES:

  •   Plan, schedule, direct and execute production activities for the manufacturing plant
  •   Update tsubos spreadsheet - (Japanese manufacturing terminology 
  •   Update production recap sheet
  •   Process and scrap reject boards
  •   Update all customers orders in ERP System IFS 
  •   Update labels for pallets
  •   Provide administrative assistance to Production Manager


COMPETENCIES:

  • Prior experience working as a production
  • Working knowledge of spreadsheets and databases ( Solid to Advanced use of excel including formulas and pivot tables)
  • Time management and JIT manufacturing
  • Attention to detail
  • Communication skills - be able to communicate with a variety of cultures, people, and work styles.  This position collaborates with international colleague, vendor, and customer basis
  • Team work
  • Highly analytical and ability to see trends and problems in data
  • Understanding of Lean Manufacturing or Toyota lean theory.  Overview concepts 


EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred  ( Business, analytics, production, supply chain, project management)
  • Excellent project management skills - PMP not required or expected
