We are currently recruiting for a Payroll/Bookkeeper in Santa Maria, CA!
Job Duties:
Preparing and/or reviewing journal entries and reconciliations, preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements. Purchasing, buyouts and bookkeeping. Pay bills and track accounts payable (via Quick Books, prepare accounting recaps, budgets, and track progress for projects, general office management.
Job Requirements:
Requirement: Advanced knowledge in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook). Typing 50+ wpm, Advanced knowledge of Quick Books, A high level of professionalism and confidentiality, Successful problem-solving skills and strong decision-making ability, with ability to anticipate needs, Valid CA driver license, reliable transportation
-Prevailing Wage experience a big plus
-Construction/Workshop experience a plus
-Must pass a background check.
-Minimum of typing at 35wpm.
-12+ months experience in similar office work setting.
-Experience with Microsoft Office Suite.
-High school diploma or G.E.D. preferred.
-Able to read, write and communicate in English.
Schedule: Monday - Friday 8am-5pm
Pay Rate: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour DOE.
