Job Summary:
- Partners Personnel is looking for a dynamic Ingredient Sales Manager professional with a track record of increasing B2B and B2C sales through securing new customers while developing existing customers through creative new product concepts/applications of ingredients.
- The successful candidate will start from a strong foundation of Spices for an international company in the food manufacturing industry and more. Founded in 1992, this is a bulk wholesale producer offering the freshest and highest quality of spices, such as cinnamon and vanilla in powder and liquid ingredients for food products in the world.
Responsibilities:
- Drives and actively manages the activities of multiple Account Executives, giving direction and timely, specific, and appropriate feedback about performance, development needs and progress; reinforces efforts and progress.
- Commercial and Business Acumen Understand the regulatory and market dynamics for food and nutritional ingredients such as cinnamon, vanilla and maintain a professional network in the trade and with potential B2B and B2C customers.
- Detailed sales and marketing plan to target new opportunities.
- Directly represents Company to current and prospective customers, effectively visiting these customers on a regular cadence as needed via customer visits, trade shows, plant visits, phone calls, and e-mails, etc.
- Reports on sales and marketing data, KPIs and provides recommendations for optimizing performance; Prepares a variety of status reports, including activity, closing, follow-up and adherence to goals.
Qualifications:
- Significant experience working and leading cross-functionally.
- Sold ingredients such as cinnamon and vanilla for nutritional applications in powder and liquid form.
- Working knowledge of Spices, such as cinnamon, vanilla and Consumer Packaged Goods
- Minimum of 3 - 6 years of sales management experience within ingredients and/or food B2B and B2C.
