Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
Procurement:
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand their procurement requirements and specifications.
- Identify potential suppliers and conduct supplier evaluations.
- Negotiate contracts and agreements to secure favorable terms and pricing.
- Place purchase orders and monitor order status to ensure timely delivery.
Supply Chain Management:
- Maintain accurate records of inventory levels and forecast demand.
- Work to optimize inventory levels, minimize stockouts, and reduce excess inventory.
- Support supply chain activities to streamline the procurement process.
SAP Experience:
- Utilize SAP software to track and manage procurement data and processes.
- Extract and analyze data from SAP to make informed procurement decisions.
Contract Management (A Plus):
- Assist in contract management activities, including reviewing, renewing, and amending contracts.
- Ensure contracts comply with company policies and legal requirements.
Compliance and Quality:
- Ensure all procurement activities adhere to company policies and relevant regulations.
- Maintain a high standard of product quality and compliance throughout the procurement process.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, or a related field (preferred).
- Proven experience in procurement and supply chain operations.
- Strong knowledge of SAP or other procurement and inventory management software.
- Contract management experience is a plus.
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work both independently and in a team environment.
- Strong time management and organizational skills.
- Adaptability to a hybrid work environment.
Pay Rate: $26.00 per hour
