This company is a market leader in the field of chocolate, chocolate decorations, and preparations for pastry, bakery and gelato.

Shift Schedule:  1st shift  6:30am to 30pm Mon-Fri

 

Pay: $21 to $24 per hour.  

 

Location: Duluth

Job Description: 

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and oversee the shipping and receiving operations
• Ensure accurate and timely processing of all outgoing shipments
• Prepare shipping documents, including bills of lading and shipping labels
• Verify the accuracy of product quantity, quality, and condition before shipment
• Utilize basic math skills to calculate shipping costs and determine appropriate packaging materials
• Operate various equipment such as pallet jacks, reach trucks, and RF scanners to move and track inventory
• Load and unload trucks, ensuring proper placement and securing of items
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure efficient order fulfillment and resolve any shipping-related issues
• Maintain a clean and organized shipping area

Requirements

• 2 to 3 years of previous experience in shipping and receiving or a related field preferred
• Previous experience working with Excel, NetSuite, or Oracle
• Familiarity with e-commerce platforms and MRP systems is a plus
• Ability to operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks, reach trucks, and RF scanners Strong attention to detail and accuracy in verifying product quantity, quality, and condition
• Basic math skills for calculating shipping costs and packaging materials
• Physical stamina to lift and move packages weighing up to 50 lbs.
• Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple shipments simultaneously
• Effective communication skills to collaborate with team members from different departments
