Shift: 1st from 8:00 AM until 5:30 PM

Pay: $21.00 per hour 

Job Description for Inventory Clerk:

An Inventory Clerk is responsible for tracking current production levels and recording purchases and products in a warehouse. They review purchase orders to ensure they're accurate before processing them with suppliers and checking stock status by performing physical counts on shelves or in trucks.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Monitors and maintains current inventory levels; tracks orders and investigates problems.
  • Maintains database, performs physical count of inventory, and reconciles actual stock count to computer-generated reports.
  • Unpack, and consolidate/replenish items as necessary, labels shelves.
  • Provide guidance and leadership to the inventory staff.
  • Processes and document returns as required following established procedures.
  • Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.
  • Assist pickers with missing items

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required

  • Knowledge of supplies, equipment, and/or services ordering and inventory control.
  • Ability to reconcile stock counts to report data.
  • Database management skills.
  • Ability to analyze and solve problems.
  • Operate Cherry Picker 
  • Knowledge of Word and Excel a must.

Physical/Work Environments

  • Walking, standing, heavy lifting, carrying, stooping, bending, kneeling, and reaching throughout long periods of the day.
  •  Changes in temperature and humidity, and exposure to cold, heat, dust and loud noise. 
  • Push and pulling pallets and lifting products.
  • Physical strength to handle up to 50+ pound object, frequently. 
  • Above average coordination, including eye-hand, hand-foot and balance; above average endurance.
