**Job Title: Dispatch Coordinator / Customer Service Specialist**


**Position Type:** Friday through Monday**


**Overview:**

As a Dispatch Coordinator/Customer Service Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring efficient order processing, resolving inquiries, and maintaining accurate shipment records. Operating within a dynamic environment, you will be responsible for managing customer interactions promptly and effectively.


**Key Responsibilities:**


1. **Dispatch Operations:**

   - Dispatch drivers efficiently, communicating routes and schedules effectively.

   - Troubleshoot issues for drivers and provide necessary support to ensure smooth operations.

   - Coordinate with drivers to ensure timely pickups and deliveries.


2. **Order Processing:**

   - Process orders accurately and promptly, making necessary changes as required.

   - Ensure adherence to company policies and procedures throughout the order processing cycle.


3. **Customer Interaction:**

   - Provide product and service information to customers, addressing queries and concerns.

   - Field customer inquiries through various channels, including phone calls and in-person interactions.

   - Monitor emails and promptly address urgent inquiries from customers.


4. **Shipment Management:**

   - Track and trace shipment statuses, communicating updates to customers through written and verbal communication.

   - Ensure all orders are shipped in accordance with customer requirements, maintaining data entry accuracy.


5. **Operational Efficiency:**

   - Operate effectively in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines and changing priorities.

   - Demonstrate adaptability and resourcefulness in managing workload and meeting customer needs.


6. **Data Entry and Software Utilization:**

   - Create shipment orders and perform other data entry tasks using Transportation Management Software (TMS).

   - Maintain meticulous records and documentation to support efficient order processing and shipment management.


**Qualifications:**


- High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or training in customer service is preferred.

- Proven experience in a customer service or order processing role, with a strong focus on accuracy and efficiency.

- Proficiency in data entry and computer software, particularly Transportation Management Software (TMS) or similar platforms.

- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to effectively interact with customers and colleagues.

- Demonstrated ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple tasks and priorities effectively.


**Note:** This job will require Friday through Monday schedule.  Task on Sundays is primarily  for setting up Monday's dispatch.
