Electrical-Mechanical Technician, preferably with experience installing, configuring, and repairing various electronics, PLCs, and machinery, in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. 


Primary duties:


 Perform needed repairs, adjustments, lubrication, to equipment to maintain maximum performance.


Secondary duties:


Building maintenance

Perform general housekeeping.

Dumping daily trash.

All reasonable requests of management.


Lift truck experience preferred.


Some of the machinery on site:

1 – Pneumatic Scale liquid filling line

1 – RA Jones Powder filling line

1 – Liquid mixing room

1 – Powder mixing room

1 -  Shipping/dock area with pallet wrapper

2 - Compactors

1 – Scissor lift

11 – Electric Lift trucks w/ Chargers

5 – Dust Collectors

3– Air compressors


Examples of Responsibilities:

  • Support line changeovers
  • Troubleshoot mechanical/electrical issues
  • Troubleshoot issues on machinery/conveyor equipment
  • Work well with other technicians/engineers
  • Assist with installation and follow-up of jobs
  • Support Preventative Maintenance with a goal of continually reducing downtime.
  • Analyze problems and interpret technical information necessary to make required repairs (troubleshooting of equipment issues). 
  • Perform mechanical, electrical maintenance and repairs on production machinery and facility. 
  • Inspect, operate and test machinery or equipment to diagnose machine malfunction and validate work performed.
  • Ensure safety by following company policies including safety rules, procedures, Lock-out / Tag-out procedures, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP’s), personal safety, as well as OSHA standards.
  • Troubleshoot equipment as well as plant electrical/mechanical systems and develop sustainable solutions accordingly.
  • Complete all assigned work orders within the time allotted. Maintain complete records of work performed and have good communication skills across departments. 
  • Assist with equipment change overs and line startups, troubleshooting issues as needed. 
  • Identify required parts, maintain current inventories and parts reorder lists.
  • Assure all products are manufactured to the highest standard of quality.
  • Participate in Continuous Improvement; provide suggestions to improve processes.
  • Continue to grow maintenance and leadership skills through assigned training. 






Qualifications: 

  • 3+ year of maintenance experience
  • Mechanical OR Electrical aptitude
  • Experience wiring and troubleshooting electrical systems
  • Experience with line changes or line changeovers
  • Consistent Job History


Preferred Qualifications: 

  • 5+ years of maintenance experience.
  • Mechanical AND Electrical aptitude.
  • Experience in the packaging or liquid packaging industry.
  • Fabrication experience.
  • Knowledge of PLC Programming.
